Boost Biodiversity in your Garden

I started Biodiversity Gardens for people that want a pretty garden but also want to attract wildlife and be part of Nature Corridors. By boosting the number of plant species and increasing the types of habitats the variety of wildlife and resilience of a garden can be boosted. By having plants in flower all year round, the garden stays vibrant while ensuring pollinators always have food available.

The habitats and species recommended are selected just for your garden depending on what you have already and aligned with the Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS) for your county to include some of the most important species.

Small changes, bigger impact

By introducing the right mix of plants and habitats you can support pollinators, provide food and shelter for birds and complete ecosystems that are naturally balanced.

About Me

I grew up in the Wiltshire countryside surrounded by nature, with a garden full of flowers, fruit, vegetables, butterflies and birds. After a career in the city and working in Energy, I developed an interest in the impact of climate change and sustainability. I eventually settled in Hertfordshire, retrained as a Horticulturist with a special interest in biodiversity. I have the RHS Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Plant Growth and Development, the wildlife knowledge is self-taught and born out of a deep-rooted respect for nature that never left me.
